IVAN MOTT

Ivan Mott was born in Bosnia in 1967 and was educated in the Academy of Fine Art (ALU) in Sarajevo from 1986 to 1991. From 1991 to the present day he has been living, painting and exhibiting in the Canary Islands as well as the UK.

Concentrating mainly on figurative paintings he discovered various techniques and in the last decade he has established his art form through working with oils on canvas. His environmental influences are the main structure and inspiration of his unique and unusual compositions.

The interplay between shadow and light has firmly become the style for which he is now well recognised.
